I’m starting a little series of drawings with words. I’m enjoying the bright colors and the poster-like feel of them.
This particular one began as a print I made a few years ago. While making this, I was thinking about Joseph Beuys, the Wizard of Oz, showmanship, glitter/iridescence/shine, the number of words someone’s attention can hold, how texture creates variation in color, what constitutes as “colorful,” and intuition as a lifestyle.
